Fast, inexpensive, but needed to be formatted June 4, 2008 A. Bottiglia (Portland, OR) When I first bought this product and put it in my camera, a Canon 30D, the camera would not read it. Distraught, I decided to try the card in the memory card reader for my PC to see if the computer would read the card or not. It could. I thought it might be incompatible with camera, but on a whim I decided to format the card using my PC. Once I had formatted the card it worked perfectly with my camera and since then we have taken tons of pictures without a hitch. Great card, great price.
Super Fast & Reliable! May 12, 2008 A. Brown (California) I use this in my Digital SLR and absolutely love it! It is definitely fast and I have had nothing but excellent performance from all PNY products. If you are serious about photography and understand the importance of high-speed memory cards than you know that this is an absolutely awesome memory card!
good product at a great price! April 22, 2008 A. Armfield (cola, sc) i bought this on a goldbox deal for really cheap and didn't have the greatest expectations but when it arrived i was very surprised at how nice it was. It somehow seems better made than some of the other cf cards i have and more importantly, the read/write speed is really great. It handles raw files from my d2x with ease. I highly recommend this card!
This card works fine w/ my digital camera March 30, 2008 P. Shepard (Caddo Gap, ARK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was shopping for a 4 GB compact flash card & had the chance to buy this card during Amazon "gold box" special deal. (The "list" was $81; the actual cost was half that; I see today that it is for sale for $63). There were no reviews, so I almost hesitated, but it had good specs. (133X; 20MB/sec sustained read/write). It arrived today & I loaded into camera (Nikon D200) and starting firing off "bursts" for a few seconds-- it could keep up easily. (I don't usually shoot this way, so I wouldn't know what it would do if it couldn't keep up?) Anyway, it captured all the images i shot and later transfered all images w/o problem via card reader to PC. I then formatted CF in camera and repeated the burst (5 frames) again, no problem. All in all, it seems to be a fine product. IF a problem develops in the near future, I'll try to remember to come update, here. Meanwhile, it comes w/ a lifetime warranty. ALso, it shipped w/ a National geographic "wildlife photography video, that was pretty cool, too. hope this helps you...
