Customer Reviews:

1 out of 5 stars Horrible! It DIED!!! Now it's garbage :-(   June 26, 2007
Scott C. Edwards
I had a 256mb card used in a Linux firewall, and it failed recently. At least half the card is unreadable all the sudden. I do have backups though! :)

Since the write performance was lousy, I setup ram disks to take over the busy areas that see the most activity. Essentially, only /etc /bin /sbin /usr/sbin and /usr/bin were read/write on this card (nearly no write activity). Changes were only committed on an as needed basis (ever week or so). Oh well...

5 out of 5 stars good stuff   February 21, 2007

the chord was just like brand new... actually i think it was brand spanking new! i just ordered the wrong one cuz it was for a scanner rather than for transferring pics from a camera to a computer.

3 out of 5 stars Freight charges way too high!   January 18, 2007

The freight charge was nearly 1/2 the price of the card. I live on the east coast but I did not expect to pay almost 43% in freight. This was standard shippng, no expeditd service. Wen I asked for justifcation from the company, I was told too bad.

Chip works like a charm - holds several hundred digital photos.
