Has a mind of its own December 13, 2003 M. Aysan (Austin, TX) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I'm glad most people are happy with their card because I'm having a terrible time with mine. I just came back from a short trip and was transferring 21 pictures that I took to my computer. By the 4th picture, things came to a halt, it might have been my computer. When I tried again, the camera gave me the "No image" message. Yes, the card was blank, all 21 pictures in the camera simply vanished before my eyes while I was transferring them to my computer. This is not the first time. It did do a few little funny things here and there before. Obviously I missed the crucial sign of a greater potential trouble back then. This memory card has compeletely made me paranoid about taking pictures with a digital camera. It's one of those things that money refund won't replace what's been lost.

I've owned it for a year and it works fine. No issues with loss of storange or read/write speed.
solid reliable product at a great value May 26, 2003 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I purchased the 128 MB Simpletech CompactFlash Card about seven months ago. My digital camera came with a 16MB card, but I wanted more memory and this was great. So far, it has been very reliable in holding pictures upto the full capacity. I read that other CompactFlash Cards can sometimes stop functioning after a couple months or not live upto the "promised" capacity. Not true with this card. I take quite a few pictures and therefore have used the card to its full capacity many times and then erased pictures from it using the camera. I didn't have to format the card and it's still functioning like a new one. I have not had a single problem with it and I am very happy with this product. The price was reasonable as well. I highly recommend this card to anyone looking for a CompactFlash Card.
Avoid this CF card if you have a Nikon February 24, 2003 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I have a Coolpix 4300. This CF card runs just fine but it is slower than a same capacity Lexar 12x card. If you are not taking high resolution pictures all the time then this card should not be a problem.
Fast, Cheap, Dependable January 10, 2003 18 out of 18 found this review helpful
I bought this simpletech card after a very dissapointing exeperience with a 128 MB lexar card (the red labled one). The lexar was very slow in both picture taking and picture review modes on my Canon s200 Digital Elph. This card is much faster then the above mentioned lexar card, and has proven to work pefectly in my camera. It is also one of the cheapest cards on the market, albiet prices are dropping everyday, so its hard to make such a sweeping statement. If you own a Canon camera, and want a good, cheap, fast, dependable CF card, then the simpletech is a very good choice. Also keep in mind that simpletech cards come with a lifetime warranty versus limited year warranties of some other makers. This made me feel a bit better when purchasing such an inexpensive card.
