 Poor Quality, Doesn't Work With Skype September 9, 2008

The options are bleak if you're looking for a USB web cam for Macs these days, so I reluctantly gave this one a shot. The image quality is terrible -- it's extremely grainy and of poor contrast even in good lighting conditions. Furthermore, it doesn't work with Skype -- even with the help of the iUSBCam software. A complete waste of $30.

Absolute POS waste of money. Do not, under any circumstances, purchase this if you have a mac and want to use YIM. It will crash as soon as someone connects to see you, or within a few seconds thereafter. It would have been better to burn the $25... at least it would have produced a little bit of heat and light.

I bought 2 and had to send 2 back before I could get us both working -- and even now sometimes the system just locks up and I have to quit the chat program and launch it again.
Tech support is great!

The camera is very easy to install and use. We can talk to our son out west and look into his eyes. Wonderful technology.
Good for Skype July 2, 2008

This camera works well for Skype but as most if not all of you know, Ichat is a different beast all together, since I was looking for an inexpensive way to video conference via Skype I'm fairly happy w/ this but the picture quality isn't the greatest. At around $33.00 including shipping I cannot complain. Alls well that ends well.
