The QuickCam for Notebooks Pro is compatible with both PC and Mac computers. PC system requirements include: Windows 98, 2000, Me, or XP; a Pentium II 400, Celeron, AMD Athlon processor, or greater (a Pentium III 500, Celeron, or AMD Athlon processor is recommended); 64 MB RAM (or minimum OS requirement, whichever is greater); 200 MB free hard drive space; a CD-ROM drive; a 16-bit color display adapter; a Windows-compatible sound card; and speakers (full-duplex sound card recommended). For Web activities and to send or receive video e-mail you'll need a Web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or later or Netscape Navigator 4.0 or later; an application that supports file attachment, such as AOL 7.0, Microsoft Outlook Express, or Netscape Mail 4.x or later; a 28.8K modem; and an Internet connection with an e-mail account. Sound card and speakers are needed for audio playback.  Great camera...works well with Polycom's PVX software February 2, 2008

This camera has a great form factor. It's small, easily clips onto my laptop, comes with a case, a stand, built-in mic, and provides great image quality. The camera installed on my IBM laptop running XP without issue, and works well with Polycom's PVX software. It's a great combination!

trust me guys...I read a lot of reviews for this product and did not believe that it could be this good.I also took the recommendations of skeptics and tried to avoid it. I first installed the software and then rebooted the computer. Then, I attached the webcam and voila!....absolutely unbelievable quality. Works fantastic in the dark and the mic is great too...I have used a lot of webcams previously, but this beats them hands down.

This camera is wonderfully light and small, yet still has great visual capabilities. The only problem that I am experiencing is the supports used to mount it on the lap top are weak and seldom keep the camera stable/steady...which causes much confusion on the viewers end and frustration on my end of things!

I moved from England to America and wanted to keep in contact with my family. The Logitech QuickCam has been great. It is really easy to set up, and the quality is not bad. I love the carry case, and the whole thing is small enough to travel around with me. Definitely a good purchase and at a competative price.
