Webcam with less oomph August 14, 2007 Megan E. Pollard (Oklahoma USA) It was very inexpensive but the quality is not all that great. If you just need something to use to communicate with someone online it works but no video capabilities and it doesn't take pictures.
Veo Stingray - Web camera - color - USB July 19, 2007 Leslie M. Moore (Westside Detroit) For the price, one cannot "complain" much. Webcams can cost near or over a $100.00 This is A Very good option for Beginners. The camera works well with plenty lamp light and sunlight. When using the software, In the Veo Studio, you can always adjust the "settings" a little if the picture is too dark. For basic use, the camera does the job. One can always advance later, once you are an expert user with special needs and a growing business.
Cheap and simple. You get what you pay for. July 20, 2004 Jonathan Taylor (Valdosta, GA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this cam off ebay for $11.00 delivered. I installed it in about 5 minutes, from opening the box to seeing the first image. The problem with this cam is that it does not work in low light. All I got was a big dark moving blob. With lots of light, it works great. But, without light, good luck!
Can't beat it for the price February 14, 2004 E. B. Towle (Philadelphia, PA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I use the Veo stingray for Yahoo video chatting, and it's been surprisingly reliable. No communication problems with Yahoo and the "small window" view is very clear. Great for my slow dial-up connection. Color gets a little funky in the "large window" view, but there are lots of picture controls to adjust the image settings.
It's a nifty camera November 26, 2003 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Personally, I prefer high-tech gizmos. This camera did the job pretty well though, and there's even a little wheel on top to sharpen the focus. The Veo Stingray didn't satisfy my inner geek, but it got the job done. Yahoo Messenger cooperates with it too.
