Don't go to nursing school without it! August 14, 2008 Skip (Richmond, VA. USA) I have the 7th edition which was in our required book list for school. It is one of the only books I have used every semester, and I'm sure I'll use it in this last semester. I couldn't have done my evidence based papers or nursing care plans without it.
Nursing Diagnosis Handbook: An Evidence-Based Guide to Planning Care (Nursing Diagnosis Handbook June 23, 2008 C. Thompson (Jackson Springs NC) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this book for Nursing school for the Fall. Based on the reviews from our instructors, they are very pleased with this book. I am excited to begin using this book in the fall. Amazon was a pleasure to work with. They shipped out much quicker than originally anticipated.
Very helpful May 15, 2008 KT 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book was so helpful when I had to write care plans for patients. It is so easy to use and takes you step-by-step through the nursing process. I use this book instead of the book required by my school.
Not the best out there April 26, 2008 A. Blomquist 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This book was recommended by my nursing program and the majority of the class did purchase this book. It has been worthless for me and usually frustrates me more on the stressful nights of care plan writing. Investigate all your options before purchasing any care plan books and pick one that fits with you. Just because this book didn't work for me it might be someone else's saving grace.
Not enough detail February 22, 2008 Kristen Dalton (Philadelphia, PA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Does not give detailed explanations of diagnoses. But list many different diagnoses that you may not have thought of.
