This book is very informative for the amateur photographer. I have read and own quite a few photography books and it seems Frost really has the ability to simplify his method of writing by truly writing for his audience's level of understanding. This book answers many a question and allows the user to apply his methods and have great results.

This book is helpfull, you can learn a lot of techniques and solve problems vary fast in Depth of field, lens, filters, films, and you will find answers to questions like: What features should I look out when buying a flash??

Is there a correct way to hold the camera so that it's as stable as possible??

I have read (or tried to read) about 5 books on photography in order to improve my skills. This book provides excellent, broad coverage of basic photography techniques, with gems for the more advanced photographer. The photos included provide clear illustration of the text.
