Product Description The Explorer 2 is ideal for carrying most digital or film SLRs (like Canon's 20D) with a grip and zoom lens attached, several additional lenses, a flash and accessories. The main compartment features Tamrac's Dual Foam Technology for shock protection and a custom fit to equipment. An external front pocket features Tamrac's patented Memory & Battery Management System, which uses red flags to identify which memory cards and batteries are available and which ones are used up. A Speed Pocketon the front flap secures and provides quick access to small accessories. A Total Coverage Top with quick-release buckle and zipper closures provides weather protection. Inside the lid is a smooth nylon pocket for holding lens cleaning paper and an open pocket in the back holds an instruction manual. An adjustable, BioCurve non-slip shoulder strap, and an EasyGrip carrying handle provide convenient carrying options for the Explorer 2.

best camera bag August 6, 2008 Gary (Buffalo, NY) this was the best bag i found, i have a canon eos rebel xt, and a large lense, they all fit in the bag.
Great bag July 15, 2008 Jessica P. E. Torres (Rio, Brasil) This is a great bag, however, it is not as spacey as I had imagined. I bought the Sony A300, which came with a lens (18 to 70) and I also bought a set of Tamron lenses (28-80 and 75-300) and a set of filters and that is all that fits (apart from the spare battery or memory card that can fit into the front). Of course, for now it is perfect, because we don't need to put anything else in, but when we come to buying something else we'll also have to upgrade to a bigger bag. The quality of the bag is great, definitely recommend it!
Tamrac Explorer 2 DSLR Camera Bag June 12, 2008 Tom Excellent product in a market where there are many to choose. I bought this one because it was the size I needed and the fact that I have used a large Tamrac bag for over 15 years and it is still in excellent condition. They are VERY well made. A very functional and effective bag. My Nikon D70 with a 18 to 200mm G ED VF lens fits vetically with room to spare. It also stores my SB-600 strobe, a spare battery, memory cards and several other items.

Nice Small Expandable Bag April 2, 2008 Stujoe (Illinois, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This bag has held up well for me over a year and a half. In the bag a lone, I keep my D50 with 18-135mm lens attached, a Sigma 10-20mm and a 50mm f/1.8 with extension tube attached. I also added 2 Tamrac M.A.S. lens cases (MX5378) to hold an SB600 and 70-300mm VR. They can attach to the side of the case and they give me quite a few options on what lenses I can carry, how many I want to carry at one time and where I want to carry them in the case. The bag also has a nice front pocket to hold things like filter, off camera flash cord, etc
