Very Good January 6, 2009 Satyanarayana Kondle It is working perfect. It is able to charge 4 empty batteries to full in 5 hrs, I have checked. The indicator shows whether the batteries are full or not. Its better than what I had expected.
Excellent charger January 3, 2009 ELS The charger works quickly--it charges 4 batteries in 2 hours or so. The charger is compact and light. The batteries last a long time--for 500 shots or more--in a Cannon 2S IS camera.
Wonderful product, but pricey January 1, 2009 A. Ward (Madison, AL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is an absolutely wonderful product if you don't mind the fairly high price. If you've done any research, you already know that there are similar products available for less. I own the Canon PowerShot S5 IS and it (and other Canon cameras) run on any brand of AA batteries. These batteries do seem to have a very long life in between charges. Occasionally I won't have any other choice but to purchase regular batteries when I'm out and I'm desperate and it always seems like they die much more quickly than when I have the Canon batteries in the camera. Bottom line: I'm very happy with these batteries and you will be too.
Excellent, but slow to charge December 26, 2008 J. Brown (Norwood, MA USA) I've owned my Canon camera and this charger and battery combo for several years now. I don't use the camera very frequently, but when I do, I use it a lot (on vacation, at a family event) and wind up taking around one-hundred pictures or so with many of them using the flash. These batteries are always ready to go, even if they have been sitting in the camera for months. They never run down on me during use. The charger is only a little larger than the batteries themselves and plugs directly into the wall socket (no "wall wart" or power cord needed). The prongs for the power plug fold into the charger so it packs down to a very small package, which means you'll probably bring it with you on vacation and you'll have it when you need it. The only drawback I would say is that the charger is of the "charge them overnight" variety. It's not fast, but it does the job. As long as you aren't looking for a quick charger, I'd recommend this one.
Agrivation saver! November 23, 2008 L. Anderson (Montana) These rechargable batteries and charging unit have saved me untold agrivation from dead or untimely battery failure. One of the worst was needing to take a last picture or two and have the batteries die in the camera and no new ones available. If you take pictures with modern high power consuming cameras with big memories, you will need one of these. This kind of agrivation will be a thing of the past.
