Editorial Reviews:
Product Description By reducing the light reflected from non-metallic surfaces, polarizing filters allow direct shooting through glass windows and reduce the effect of glare from water surfaces and sunlit trees and grass. In outdoor shooting, the filter can even deal effectively with light reflected on steam or airborne dust particles to enhance the sky's blue color.

Customer Reviews:
You can't get a better filter January 6, 2009 Fred C. Mcclanahan (Shreveport, LA United States) There are more expensive polarizer filters but I doubt if any are better. There are some horrible ones out there so don't take a chance on the cheap ones.
Good Buy.. January 22, 2008 Ajith 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Able to get good blue sky instead of an over exposed one.. Good improvement on the glass/water reflections too .. sample photos attached in the image section
Works as promised. August 29, 2007 Robert Nakagawa (Northern California) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Item arrived before expected date. Saw noticeable improvement in picture colors especially the dark blue skies and richer colors throughout when compared to photos taken w/o polarizer.
You get what you pay for May 7, 2007 DigitalMan (Denver, CO) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
There are cheaper filters out there but the quality of this Nikon polarizer is unrivaled. Even for the quality it is still a little on the pricey side, hence only 4 stars. But at the end of the day you can buy a cheap one and be unhappy with the results or you can pay the extra $$ and get something that will do the job right.
