Really Buggy...Avoid... July 23, 2008

I bought this to replace canvas X and it is a big step backwards in terms of stability. Canvas has never been the most stable software package but this version is totally buggy. I have lost my work several times in just the first few days, it feels like a very early beta version of code.

Canvas in general is a great program, but each new owner of the company seems to lose interest after just a few months. No support, no bug fixes. Kind of a dead-end it seems.

I have used Canvas for years - this is a highly evolved product - a swiss army knife of a drawing program - it does everything that could only otherwise be accomplished with a half dozen separate applications for $1000+ A neccessary addition to anyones software suite that has the need for any illustrations - simple or professional .. this version is VISTA ready ..
