I was preparing for a trip to the Arctic tundra at Hudson Bay and decided to buy another backup battery because of the expected operating life in those extreme conditions. I already had four batteries, with a lot of use on them.
Turns out that I didn't need the extra backup. These batteries are wonderful, and like the other brands bunny, they keep going and going.

I've never seen anything like it! You plug it into a recharger, and it gets filled with electricity! Then, you use the electricity until it's all gone--and you can do it over and over--many times! It's 5.5 cm x 3.4 cm x 1.5 cm, black, with a pleasing matte finish. And it comes in a handy hard plastic, snap-shut protective case that you can re-use to hold buttons, paper clips, or whatever! The world needs to know about this!

These are the original Nikon batteries. Best of all is the price which was less than half of what I paid when I bought one with the camera.
