Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Product Description The Cstar Optics GO-6450 compact refractor telescope has a special optical system that extends the total focal length to 900mm, greatly increasing the magnification of objects in the night sky--twice the magnification of other telescopes its size. Specially engineered optics gives a clear image at an affordable price. Multi-coated glass lenses deliver low color aberration. The optics are encased in a seamless aluminum alloy tube, which includes a 5x optical finder scope for low-power scanning. An aluminum yoke mount allows for tiny vertical adjustments. The telescope comes with a pre-assembled 4-tier aluminum tripod with user-adjustable vertical elevation for more comfortable viewing. The whole kit packs up easily with the included "sponge" padded nylon case and carrying strap. It also comes with a star finder CD-ROM.

Customer Reviews:
It Was Made To be Light, Not Work November 5, 2007 My dad got this for me for my birthday. After hours of trying to figure out how to put it toghether, I finished building it. The instructions say not to use it indoors, so we took it outside. The little breeze kept knocking it a few centimeters of course, now when you look at something thousands of miles away, that's very far. We sent it back and got our $100. What a disappointment on my birthday.
