Poor quality - quickly die out on you May 6, 2008 Daniel McConchie I looked forward to getting Energizer-branded batteries for my Nikon camera, so I bought three of these batteries. But, they aren't Energizer. They're made by a company called Technuity and are licensed under the Energizer brand. After a few uses, they quickly died out either refusing to take a charge, or taking a charge but running dead within minutes of starting to use them. If you want a quality battery, find one made by Nikon.
Dead on arrival. Not made by Energizer January 31, 2005 Dan Nguyen (North Carolina) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
This battery was dead on arrival. I bought this battery because of the Energizer brand but I was dissapointed because the battery was made by another unknown company under Energizer's license. I charged the battery until the charger light turn from red the green. Put the batterty in the Nikon digital camera, turned on the power and nothing. I put the old battery back in the camera and it worked fine. I tried to clean the terminals on the battery and that didn't help either. So I called this "unknown company" customer support and this woman told me to send the battery to them along with $5.45 for the return shipping. I told the battery has never worked for me and I don't want to pay any more money (~$10 shipping for both ways). The best I can do is pay 1 way. She wouldn't do it so I threaten to put a bad review on amazon.com, she told me go ahead and hung up. I contacted amazon.com and told them about the problem. Amzon.com said they can exchange it for me. I already sent the battery back to amazon.com but the new battery hasn't arrived yet because none in stock. Updated: Amazon refunded my money. I bought EN-EL1 battery from www.provantage.com for $20. And guess what ?? The battery is made in Japan by Nikon. Not in china like ER-D300.
