High in quality and value September 2, 2008 B. Jaber (San Jose, CA United States) Excellent value for the dollar on this head. Having a separate pan adjustment solves the "creeping panorama" problem. The head is lightweight and small enough to not overpower your tripod legs. Total keeper.
sold August 26, 2008 Quinton Fason (A hill in Mississippi) This is a really solid ball head. The quick change is quick and has a safety lock that prevents accidental release. Where you lock it is where is stays-- no slack-- as it should be.
Ball Heads August 1, 2008 William Jones As a novice photographer I found this ball head to be very sturdy and strong. The panning lock was simple, the QC plate is awesome and has an extra safety release on it, the turn dial keeps this ball from moving! I gave it 4 stars cause I would have liked an optical bubble/spirit level ect on the actual ball head base. Now I need a shoe mount level for those tricky landscape shots and horizons @ the beach. All in all an awesome ball head that is not to big nor to small.
Great flexible ball head June 14, 2008 SF Loft (San Francisco, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This head combined with the 190Xpro is a solid setup. The only downside is the weight, but the build quality and feel is rock solid. The RC2 connect system is quick and easy and very secure.
Good ballhead for the money June 13, 2008 Mark Faller (St. Louis MO) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Pleased overall with the performance of the ballhead. Would like to upgrade one of these days with a head that performs fine tuning adjustments, but that will of course cost more. I put some pretty heavy loads on this, and have had 0 problems with it. Quick release is a good one. Quality ballhead for the money.
