This precision optical accessory, which is compatible with your Nikon SLR camera, allows you to increase the focal length of your lens without sacrificing optical quality. For example, using a 2x teleconverter with a 300mm lens will effectively increase the focal length to 600mm. A lens set to f/2.8 will now be f/5.6. It also reduce depth of field to the 50% of the master lens.
