Does what it's supposed to.July 12, 2008 Nicholas(Portland, OR USA) I recently traded in my Canon HV30 HDV camcorder for a Canon HF10 flash memory camcorder. When I had the HV30, I also bought the Canon wide angle adapter, which is a substantial investment. When I moved to the HF10, I needed the Tiffen adapter ring so that I could use the wide angle adapter on my new camera which has a smaller lens diameter. This product is very simple and does what its supposed to.
