Panasonic Lithium-Ion Battery April 23, 2008 John D. Melton (Northern Virginia) Exact same battery that came with my Panasonic digial camera. Am able to take nearly 800 photos at normal resolution on a single charge at up to 10 photos per minute.
Panasonic's CGA-S005A Battery for my Lumix FX100 August 15, 2007 Fay Ulanoff (Loveland, CO USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
In the past I've found that being penny wise and pound foolish on batteries and not buying the recommended battery led to an early demise of those batteries. In the last few years, because of that type of experience I only buy brand and I haven't been disappointed yet. This is a terrific battery. As far as price, Amazon was about $36 less than list price. Unbeatable!!
Panasonic CGA-S005A/1B Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery June 8, 2007 David A. Weinstein (Chicago) This product works like it should and lives up to the name of Panasonic. I have purchased additional back-up batteries as well, so I always have a full charge if I am out and about and the battery charge is used up. I belive in back-up systems.
Good Product expensive price December 22, 2006 W. Leung (Illinois) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Good product - but price is double the price of generic batteries. And they are no longer made in Japan. Now they are made in China. At that price I would rather have Made in Japan. Have not noticed a difference when compared to generics. I guess time will tell if the generics stop holding their charge with continued usage. Have been using the Made in Japan version for 2yrs and still holding their charge.
