For some reason companies like to make products with rare batteries, and then when the sale of those products are gone so do the batteries diappear.
My camera battery vanished from store shelves and I was left witha non working camera.
Thanks to this resuable, rechargable battery, I am finally able to use my camera again, and I am not spending $10 a battery!
Well worth the price and a great product!

I own one of these cameras, and I can't figure out why Samsung would not include a battery and charger in the packaging. The Duracel CP1 battery is hard to find and is expensive at $10 a pop. I was going to toss my camera before I found this, and that's a shame, since it takes great pictures. Only 4 stars due to the price, and there should be 2 batteries and a dc (car adaptor) in the box.

I want to say that I was so close to putting my sony camera on ebay because it didn't come with a rechargeable battery. Then I ordered this battery, just received it actually and it works!! I am so thrilled that I can finally stop paying $10 for each duracell battery!! This battery is a life saver!!

This is a must have item for all of you out there currently using Duracell's (hard to find and extremely expensive) CP-1 batteries. Forget about paying $10 - $13 a pop for each battery when a one time payment here will save you big $$$ in the long run. The charger and battery both give you the OEM performance that you'd expect.

I have reciently goten a Samsung camera and the batteries i use for it are 10 to 12 dollars a peice and also pretty hard to find. SO i ordered this rechargable battery and charger from on here. The price was cheaper than most other options and the shipping went way faster than i expected and i was able to take my rechargable batter with me on vacation instead of buying a ton of expensive CP-1 batteries. In the long run i'll save a significant amount of money and i am very glad i purchased this item. it was exactly what i needed.
