Casio NP-40 Battery Exilim Camera May 19, 2008

This is the only battery that fits perfectly into the camera casing and that makes a big difference when you are trying to change the battery while video taping. Plus it last longer and was less edxpensive then the other baterys I tried out. So, I bought 2 more before they run out of stock.

I had tried "generic" batteries for our Casio cameras and the life on them was horrible. They lasted maybe three months and didn't seem to hold a full charge. So far we haven't had a problem with the Casio brand name batteries. So if you have a choice don't buy the off brand batteries for your digital cameras.

This is a spare battery, but you might not need it. The original battery last a good long time, but if you are going to be away from a charger for a while, these are a good idea.

I am using this in my casio Exilim 6 MP camera.
SO far there is no problems with the battery.
