4 out of 5 stars Hard to beat for the price.   October 8, 2007

This lens amazed me for the price. I tested it by shooting towards a building about half a mile away. I was surprised that not only could I see the details of the building, I could actually see a lamp in a window ... from half a mile away!

It does take a good tripod, patience, & practice to get a clear shot. Chromatic aberration is also a problem, but I don't think you can avoid that unless you spend over $1000+ on a lens.
