Disappointing. December 8, 2007

The delivery of this item was impressive. Although, the statistics are not as good. It says it is .38x. Basically the lower [.#x], the better. I wanted an upgrade from the fisheye lens that I had bought a while ago from a different company, which was .42x. Of course, I was expecting a greater angle bend with more wide conversion, however, I was disappointed. It did not perform like my previous fisheye did. I took off the Macro lens to see if that made a difference, and it made a huge difference. There was mkore conversion. But without the Macro, the threads of the fisheye is maybe 1mm less than my camera's, and did not catch threads, so I can't just use it alone, even so, if I use it alone, I would have to zoom in a little to get the sides of the fisheye out of view. I am forced to buy an adapter. Either that, or use this fisheye which isn't as good as my old one, which, to me, is not logical at all.
