I bought this lens to give me more options on my Sony DSC-W7. I really like it! It's easy to attach and easy to remove and makes a noticeable difference on my pictures. This whole set up is not for a professional photographer but more for a person who'd like to take some better than average photos. I've managed to take some shots (especially of flowers in my garden) that two of my friends (with degrees in photography) say would be great blown up into posters! Sony makes great products!

I bought this lens and the telefoto lens for my Sony W70 before going to Switzerland. Wow...the difference in pictures of the mountains made this purchase very much worth the money. I have only used it for pics outside, and the quality of the image is excellent. I have seen some complaints about shadowing, but haven't used this lens in a situation where I've needed the flash, so I can't comment on that. So far, for what I've used it for, I'm extremely happy with this lens. I've got no complaints.

Bought this product to take closer photos of group family shots and to be able to take wider photos of scenic shots. Quality of photos is great!!
