problems with two cameras August 25, 2008 C. Worthy (Simpsonville, South Carolina United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This camera worked only briefly before freezing -- it would do nothing at all and would not even turn on, despite trying different batteries. Amazon exchanged it for the same model, at our request, and we had the same experience with that one as well. Please check out other online reviews for this camera before puchasing it. This has happened to other buyers. On a postive note, Amazon's customer service continues to impress.
Surprising August 24, 2008 Michelle Bailey (Michigan, USA) I was surprised that this camera works as well as it does. I wasn't sure at first but once I took some pictures of my youngest son I was hooked. You can't beat it for the price.
poor quality- will not power up! August 24, 2008 Danny M. Walden The first one lasted about 3 days and then it would not come on. I returned it (thanks to amazon's great return policy) and reordered the same model (C713-pink). The second one lasted about 5 days with the same problem. I suspect some design flaw and will not order another. I have had good luck in the past with other Kodak cameras, but this model seems to have quality issues. I was pleased with the quality of the pictures, what few I was able to take.
Excellent 'starter' or spare camera July 23, 2008 A. Benenson 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I needed a spare camera to keep in my car and this fits the bill. It was very affordable, it's easy to use (which is especially important for a camera that I might not use often), and the picture quality is decent. It's also nice that it uses plain AA batteries, so I don't have to worry about keeping a charger around. Anyone looking for a simple and cheap digital camera would do fine with this one. Tip: If you just want to get the pictures from your camera into your computer, you don't need to install the software included with the camera - most computers already have this capability built-in. Just connect the camera to your computer with the included cable and it'll probably work fine.

My daughter loves her camera. She had one just like it which was stolen. She wanted another because it was so easy to use.
