My Canon Sureshot broke. A good excuse to get a camera with more optical zoom. This camera is compact, has great features, and is realtively easy to use for a novice like me. There are many different modes to choose from if you don't want to use the auto. I bought the Olympus memory card and have plenty of video time. Some other reviews reported this to be a problem. The clarity and color of the pictures are very good. The LCD screen is very sharp. It's small and easily fits in a pocket. The only down side is that there is no view finder for outside. I only found this to be a problem in very bright sun. Enjoy the camera.

The camera is easy to use. The pictures are clear. My hands shake quite a bit and the stabalization feature is great. The only thing is you need to let people know you have to buy optional equipment to use underwater.

I diligently searched for a good quality point & shoot camera that was easy to use & small in size. I used the product reviews by Amazon & other camera sites. I recently used the camera for a Mediterranean cruise & absolutely loved the ease of use of the camera & picture quality. It's easy enough for an amateur to use & has other features that I'm looking forward to learning how to use.

This is a great camera for the price. Make sure to purchase the recomended memory card and you will be very pleased. Very fast downloads, crisp vivid pictures. Very easy to use with a sleek, attractive look.
