Product Description The FL-36 Electronic-Flash is specifically designed for digital with an accurate 1/8 step illumination control to provide the precision required by digital cameras, while minimizing illumination reduction. The built-in wide-angle diffuser panel will allow the flash to provide even illumination with wide angle lenses like the new Zuiko Digital 14mm-45mm zoom. The inclusion of a lockable bounce and swivel mechanism offers a variety of bounce photography options including left-right, as well as top-bottom in addition to a compact zoom head to accommodate lenses from wide angle to telephoto.

Difficult Flash June 29, 2008 Janet S. (Florida) A very difficult flash to put on. The Power button does not always respond. The first flash returned as faulty. The second one almost was returned, but Olympus helped me out. The representative also had a difficult time putting it on. The Power button has to be touched in a very special way. Not recommended for this reason.
Olympus FL-36 Flash June 16, 2008 A. Kola (Jupiter, FL) I used this flash for the first time for a wedding I was attending, it commuicated well with my Olympus E-410. It took a few seconds between each shot for the recharge to be ready but that was to be expected. I'm sure the more I use it the better I will get with it. I found nothing negative on this product.
Lit up 222 pictures in 1 hour June 4, 2008 Jacqueline E. Nogle (Winter Springs, FL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I found myself on stage and being responsible for this flash working on each cadet as they approached the stage to receive various awards for their accomplishments over the past year of ROTC activities at Hagerty High School Yes,it worked fine and made my job easier,my only remark is that I dont know how I shot 5000 pictures in 2006-7 with the small flash built into the camera and not really offering enough light to properly flood the area.It really makes my confidence shoot up now and for the future.I am a retired Military man and 76 years old and all my pictures are placed on disc and donated to the cadets. This is my way of paying back and also my hobby. It also makes me feel good to be able to look back over the past three years at the School and say I have never taken a penny for my services and never will.Thank you for allowing me to run my mouth and speak for the flash. Sincerely,Ronald J Nogle Winter Springs Florida
