I got this camera for Christmas last year. I was very excited. I had seen it in stores and the camera looked great.
But after you get past the great looks of the camera, the pictures taken are as nice. I have a huge problem with blur. On AUTO mode, it seems like it takes forever to snap the picture. By the time it takes, the item being photographed moved. I now keep the camera on Sports Mode at all times to get it to take the picture a but quicker. But it doesn't help much. The Zoom however is great on this camera. Most of the time I think Zoomed pictures look better than normal ones. For the price, I would expect more.

CONS: How many times have my friends heard that when I ask them to take a picture?? 9 out of 10 people I ask to take a picture end up touching the screen, activating some function you don't want them to, and messing up your picture. So frustrating!! Also, the flimsy little plastic switch that holds the battery in, is so poorly constructed. It was very unclear as to how to remove the battery, and I ended up breaking the piece off.
PROS: The picture quality is decent at best.....the video it takes (both vid and sound) is of excellent quality.
I am "downgrading" to the other Nikon Coolpix with a normal button screen as we speak!

Had to replace my camera since the one I bought was just not working out. Had a cyber-shot before the last and loved it, but checked out the nikon that a friend had. This camera is very easy to use and can be used on the back of the bike for some awesome photos!! Can't wait to try out all the features of this camera.

i read all the reviews before ordering this camera, most were actually pretty negative, but having owned a nikon prior to this decided to go with it. completely LOVE it. it takes great pictures, after you get used to it and all it's features. not that hard to get used to though. and the touch screens easy and fun.

When I first received camera I thought it was going to be complicated to use.
Upon using it I found it pretty easy to use. At first I was going to return it
but change my mine after getting acustomed to it.
