Portable camera but priced too high for this kind of quality. August 25, 2010 Black Philosophy (Connecticut, USA) Granted this camera is portable and has some technology that beats my previous camera, the Exilim, I feel for the price it was when I bought this a year ago and STILL is over priced for the quality. The two problems with this camera were 1.) Battery Life and 2.) Power On/Off Button. Maybe i'm not use to the touch screen idea of battery life, but when on vacation I noticed that I would have to recharge my battery atleast twice a day if I were to use consistently for a few hours. I'm kind of okay with that if there's a power outlet around to charge it! The next thing that makes me completely frustrated which also has effect on the first problem is the Power On/Off button. If you have the camera in the Sony camera case or if it's in your pocket (of course you don't want to simply put it in your pocket without covering in case it gets scratched or you bump into something that will dent it - it appears like a delicate camera), you run the chance of accidentally turning it on, which in my case would ALWAYS turn on when I tried to tuck it in my pocket. Then there were times I forgot when I turned it on, because I was on vacation more focused on touring different places, and wanted to take a picture and the camera would already read 'Low Battery.' It makes me frustrated to find a camera not usable when you've spent time charging it for a specific event. Those are two problems one should check out before this camera.
However, the Positives of this camera, besides the portability, is the shutter speed, high quality movie and photo, editing of photos on camera, and other functions that make this camera somewhat a keeper.
I just still get angered to see that I have to walk around with not only a camera case, but also a charger!
Good pics quality May 13, 2010 Loughborough It has a good pics quality and portability. Battery life is quite good enough. I would definitely recommend this camera.
No quite Satisfied with this SONY CyberSHOT April 14, 2010 Yaman Shrestha (New york, NY, US) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Thought that it would be a good buy but not good as i expected. The quality degrades while taking pics in the night usually the dark objects. You'll see lot of NOISE! Wont recommend this cam.
Fun camera March 26, 2010 EMS (SD United States) I use this for still and video. Wish I could zoom while recording video, but not that big a deal. I bought a refurbished. Seems to work very well. Read the manual thoroughly to understand this camera, it has a lot of features.
Throw your old staff (camera & video) away February 10, 2010 Victor Well built, compact size, fits in your shirt pocket picture quality is excellent and the 720p HD video quality is absolutely great for this small gadget. I am selling my previous video camcorder 'cause this one does it all. Battery life - even with no brand name product - gives you 150 pics and/or 30-40 min video.
