4 out of 5 stars Great Camera, Not Very Durable   July 28, 2010
Connor Opie (Billings, MT USA)
I bought this camera at a local retailer for around $20 on clearance. It was a perfect companion to my larger Kodak Z8612IS because of it's smaller size. It also took nice pictures. It does eat batteries fairly quickly if you turn it on and off a lot or use the flash frequently, so invest in rechargeable batteries. Zoom is acceptable for a point and shoot, but it doesn't zoom very far. I loved this camera when it was working; the lcd screen was broken on a recent fishing trip when it was squished inside my camera bag which was stuck underneath a car seat being folded forward. The LCD screen is cracked and completely unusable, which makes the camera basically unusable. I'm disappointed that it broke so easily. Be careful with this camera and you'll have a nice camera for a low price.

1 out of 5 stars lasted only 4 months   July 27, 2010
cari77 (USA)
Mine only lasted 4 months. while it worked, I was happy with it - especially since I paid only $50 for it at Staples when it was on sale and I used coupons to bring the price down even more . But I certainly expected to get at least a year's worth out of it. I bought it March 23rd and yesterday, July 26th, the batteries were dead, so I put brand new batteries in it. turned it on, took a couple of pics.... in under a minute it blinked low battery, turned off, wouldnt turn back on. replaced the batts again - same thing. and again. and again. I tried 3 different brands/types of batteries. The camera was not dropped, gotten wet , or anything out of the ordinary. I'm very upset :(

5 out of 5 stars Better than expected   July 25, 2010

I was skeptical as I had seen some negative responses. I took it on a cruise and the pictures are good (not great), it was easy to carry, easy to use and the batteries lasted longer than expected.

1 out of 5 stars Not Mac compatible   July 16, 2010

The Kodak Easyshare isn't compatible with the most recent Mac OS (10.4.x). If you have an Apple, don't buy this camera.

5 out of 5 stars Easyshare isn't just a name   July 9, 2010

Both the camera and software are easy to navigate and use. My grandaughter needed a camera that she could use and for sharing pictures on Facebook. She loves the camera and really likes the teal color.
