This camera takes amazing pictures and is extremely easy to use. I love the rotary menu dial on the back for browsing through the menus and pictures... very intuitive. Even without a memory card at all, it can hold 160 pictures with 1024 horizontal pixels, which was nice for testing, etc. It has an incredibly fast start time, and pretty fast recovery time between pictures (not quite as fast as the Canon PowerShot cameras). I would definitely buy Nikon again.

I love this camera. I purchased it as an early Christmas present for myself. I took it on a trip to Washington D.C. and took many pictures. The power up time is very fast and I am pleased with the time between taking pictures. I have experimented with most of the different settings and have found most of them to be useful. I am also very pleased with the quality of pictures it takes at night and in low light. I would highly recommend this product.

Amazon has been great on this one they have accepted returns on two of these. I have returned two of these because the indoor pictures were yellow. After the second one I suspected it was not just a defective camera, so I went to a local camera store and had the salesman demo the same camera and got the very same yellow pictures. I will purchase another Nikon just not this one.

I bought this little Nikon just as a "keep it with me" camera to catch some of those moments and fleeting images that I otherwise would never catch. I have a Canon 40D and several lenses that I use when I really get serious.
Why would I not get a Canon P&S then? Honestly, I believe Nikon has a lower noise sensor in their little pocket cameras than Canon, especially when shooting at higher ISO's. I usually post process in Adobe Photoshop and frequently make large prints, so I need as good an original image from the camera as possible. Overall, this little guy is rather impressive.
