| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The SVP DC 12DX delivers quality, up to 12MP interpolated resolution images with a High End "One of the Best In The World" Omnivision CMOS Image Sensor, and the ability to produce images that are suitable for printing at sizes larger than 8x10 inches. Record Full Featured Color Videos and share them with friends and family. The Oversized 2.4" Full Color TFT LCD monitor allows you to see the images and examine them in detail before and after you take a photo or video. An autoflash sensor automatically detects lighting conditions and determines whether the flash should be used or not. The internal 32 MB of memory allows for storage of images without the use of an external card, however the DC 12DX is expandable using a SD Secure Digital up to 32GB with the built in memory card slot. (most cameras only support up to 2GB SD). Download the images to your computer using the included USB cable, enhance, and retouch them with the included easy to use editing software thats included, or any other image editing software.

| Customer Reviews:
I own this camera- quick and reliable and sleek after 2 months use September 9, 2008 Pj (Seattle, Wa United States) I have been using this camera for a couple months- carry it everywhere. It takes great pictures with no fuss; easy learning curve (I'm slow) starts up quickly and has all the basic features plus a BIG preview screen which is SO nice. I have a dead HP R-series and an old Sony Mavica (still kicking, sorta) The HP may have it all over this SVP for features (rocks!) but it's fussy and hard learning curve and.. broken. For easy point and shoot this SVP is the best. It does not have a projecting mechanical lens therefore pets do not RUN from this (no noise- fast start-up! I'm a pet lover so this is wonderful.) NO if you are looking for a load of show-off features, this is basic but often basic is all one needs. It has been extremely reliable (so far) whereas the $200.00 HP never was. Great first cam or when you don't want to fiddle with that fancy one- use this! and btw, I think the pictures from this are BETTER than from that HP, as well. Friend has SVP vid cam and loves it so far so I may be looking for a vid cam by this company as well, but I will give it a few months to see how it holds up due to prior bad luck with other brands.
