Good as any batteries - charger needs design re-working December 21, 2008

I got this because I lost my original Dig. Rebel XT charger. I needed a charger, but didn't want to spend 50 dollars on one from Canon. The extra batters work great in my camera, I dont know if their battery life compares to the original, because i haven't ran them down yet, but they dont seem very bad, and now I have three batteries, so it doesn't really matter if they last a little bit less. The charger works fine, it holds the batteries weird. They have to be in the center of it, and it took me a couple tries to figure out how to get them in there, it's not a very good design, but it works for now.

We did an experiment with this battery combination package anticipating to re purchase another {OEM} battery from Canon.
Canon NB-2LH Rechargeable Battery Pack for Digital Rebel XT/XTi, PowerShot S30/40/45/50/60/70/80, G7 & G9 Digital Cameras
{NOTE: We purchased an off brand Canon NB-2LH single battery for less than $6.00 about 1 year ago; 2500 action/still images! Holding a longer charge than the OEM battery which came with Canon Rebel XT 8mp.}
We have not purchased the Canon NB-2LH, and we will buy off brand again.

has taken over 1000 action shot images for a youth football team and is still going strong with zero dissapointments.
We test in the cold weather climates 40 degrees to 0 degree to do reviews.
A must purchase for those not insistant on purchasing;
Canon NB-2LH, name brand product.

This was a replacement for the stock charger that went missing, and it seems to be charging the stock battery just fine. I considered the spare batteries a bonus and haven't used them enough to know what kind of life to expect.

I purchased this product about three months ago. The charger works great. Both batteries hold charge very well. No problems with the performance of my camera.
