Nikon Coolpix S60 10MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Vibration Reduction (VR) Zoom (Champagne Pink) January 9, 2009 A. Sandoval (Texas) I bought this camera for my girlfriend for Christmas, and it has been an embarrassment. The screen only worked for about an hour before it turned green. We are in the process of exchanging it or getting it fixed. There is nothing worse than giving a defective gift. Stay away from Amazon. It is too much trouble to return or get something fixed. Buy your stuff from a store that has lots of warranty for their products and with an easier exchange process. As for the camera, it works great, but the screen is extremely sensitive. If the screen doesn't work, there goes your entire camera. Good luck!
Does more than I thought January 9, 2009 Susan Shave 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Purchased this camera for my 15 year old daughter and she just loves it. Great for teenagers. Has a lot more features than I thought it did, takes great photos.
Bad picture quality January 8, 2009 K. Brinkman (Minneapolis, MN) We have been very disappointed with this camera. We have always had a Cannon but decided to go with Nikon's new product. With 10 megapixels you'd expect a picture to be crystal clear, but our old Cannon was 7 MP and took better photos on a lower setting than this does on it's highest. Also, the touch-screen, which we thought was a great selling point, is very frustrating to use. I would especially not recommend it for older people, just to zoom in and out with the touch screen vs. actual buttons is much more difficult that you'd think. Overall we could not recommend anyone to buy this product.
Mostly Satisfied January 8, 2009 S. Southern 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I thought the zoom would be better and the camera itself really has no memory so you should get a memory card when you get the camera.
Great product, lots of fun and easy January 7, 2009 Irina Boudreau I'm still learning all the features, but so far I've been very pleased with this camera. Picture quality is great. All pictures come out good on auto adjust settings. The camera has many others, for night time, indoor, outdoor, party, etc, but the auto seems to work the best. But like I said I'm still learning how to use the camera. The only thing that I dont care for is the screen being too sensitive. When flipping through pictures with your finger, a lot of times it would zoom in on the picture instead of going to the next one. Also in preview mode, the pictures look grainy, not very clear. And of course the "finger" features are not so easy to use as Ashton does it in the ad. :) But overall, I love the camera and would recommend it to anyone.
