Didn't work for Toyota navigation system Gen. 4 January 7, 2009

The purpose for the purchase of the Verbatim DVD+R was to make a backup of the Toyota navigation DVD. While the disc copy was successful the DVD unit in the car has problems reading these DVDs. The map will work for a few seconds before displaying a disc error or disc is dirty error.

Otherwise, these work fine in a PC in Windows and Linux.

Work Great, but Overpriced January 7, 2009

The dual layer DVDs I got work great and serve their purpose but to be honest the price is rather high, but the price I got on them was reasonable. Reasonable becuase I feel that a blank DVD should run $1 or under per each DVD, dual layer or not. Although I've found that for the application in which they are being used they are the best for the job.

Verbatim makes one of the best double layer DVD media to my experience. it works great with my Sony DRX-810ULT and I have had very few errors using Verbatim.

I bought 3 packs of these in Dec/08 and they were all made in Singapore, so they are great quality discs (Disc ID: MKM-001-00). I'm purchasing another lot in a few weeks and will update this info. Much recommended.
