just got this for x-mas yesterday.. and the idea is there.. rubber cover to prevent caps from being lost.. i have had that happen to me before.. so it is defenitely a cool idea... i have the JDX256-631 model which is the USB 2.0 version so it is faster at transfering... for the price you can't beat it...

The unit works fine, but the rubber cover is annoying and cheap.
