I sure don't see why the other reviewer says Monster Cables are "grossly overpriced". These are one of the cheapest interconnects on the market these days. Did he not look at the price? The price also includes a lifetime warranty.
The build quality is very good. Gold plated connectors, thick conductors made from finely stranded pure copper and a foil shield. The dielectric is more high-tech than in most cables in the same price-range. These are my favorite cables. I won't pay a whole lot for wire... These sound better than some other cables I've tried in the same price-range and above. The heavy conductors let them pass a richer, fuller, more "open" sound than some other cables I've tried. You don't need to spend a lot to get good quality and performance from Monster... You can spend more if you want... If you manufactured cables and noticed some other "audiophile" brands were selling ridiculously priced cables and the customers were buying them and were satisfied with them... and actually thought the cables were better because of the price... what would you do? This is the standard Monster Cable that came out before much of that nonsense started. It was a quality, high performance cable that didn't cost an arm and a leg and it still is.

Just a little advice. You don't ever need to pay up for Monster products. If you feel like overpaying, go with Belkin or one of the other good brands. Monster is grossly overpriced.
