When you're buying a digital camera online, it's always tempting to buy from the seller advertising the lowest price. If the price is considerably less that that of competition, this may be a red flag which indicates a problem. You may fall victim to bait and switch. In traditional retail sales, a bait and switch is a deceptive tactic in which the seller lures in customers by advertising a product or service at an unprofitably low price. The merchnat then reveals to potential customers that the advertised good is not available but recommends a substitute. The goal of the bait is the get the customer in the "front door" convince the buyer to purchase the substitute good or other items like accessories or warranties.

Mistakes are good as long as they become opportunities to learn. Mistakes are better when you learn from those made by others! All and all, I'm a satisfied customer and buy 90% of my photographic equipment online. I've spent over $6500 which is a lot of money for an amateur but I'm passionate about photography :-).
